Every Vale fabric begins as a hand-rendered piece of art, drawn in London long before it is woven or printed. The collection is made for interior designers and the design trade.
Rich jacquards, delicate linens, decorative embroideries and performance weaves, produced with the finest mills across Europe and India, with a steadfast focus on natural fibres. Hand-beaded and hand-embroidered pieces sit alongside them, every one made to the highest standards of quality, durability and artistry.
Designer Upholstery and Curtain Fabrics
Designers specify Vale cloth for upholstery, for curtains and draperies, and for cushions. Timeless Linen, Sloane Stripe, Lion Toile, Kylian Check and Grand Deco run across the range, from quiet grounds to full pattern.
Many designs also appear in our wallcoverings, cushions and pillows and trims, so a scheme can carry one pattern from a wall to a window to a chair.
Where Every Thread Tells a Story
The drawings come from London's architectural heritage, from travel, and from Melinda Marquardt's eye for colour, pattern and texture.
