Every Vale pillow begins as a drawing. Our patterns are hand-drawn in London, then printed and tailor-made, which is why they look like nothing else on a sofa.
The collection runs from broad bolsters to oversize squares, in linen, cotton, satin and Italian wool bouclé, with embroidery and appliqué on several designs. Many share a pattern with our fabrics and wallcoverings, so a pillow can pick up a curtain or a wall.
Luxury Throw Pillows and Bolsters, Made to Order
You will find botanical toiles, stripes, jungle prints, mud cloth, checks and hand block prints, in palettes from soft neutrals through to claret, ochre and slate. Every decorative pillow here is made to order. Designers can request fabric samples before ordering.
How Our Designer Throw Pillows Are Made
Each pillow is filled fifty per cent down and fifty per cent feather, and stuffed extra full, so it holds a plump shape rather than collapsing into the back of a sofa. Zips are hidden. Covers are cut and finished in-house, and several designs can be finished with a Vale trim.
